Field Trips
Our field trips are planned to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and create meaningful connections to the world around us. Whether exploring nature, engaging with local businesses, or visiting museums and cultural sites, each experience is designed to support our curriculum and inspire lifelong learners. Join us as we turn every adventure into a learning opportunity!
S.T.E.A.M.
Our curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math to provide a well-rounded, hands-on learning experience. Students are encouraged to explore, design, experiment, and create through engaging projects that connect academic concepts to real-world applications. Every project is student-centered, developmentally appropriate, and intentionally designed to make learning meaningful and fun!
Cooking
Our cooking projects serve up more than just tasty treats—they offer real-life lessons in math, science, health, and life skills. From measuring ingredients and following step-by-step instructions to learning about nutrition and kitchen safety, students engage in hands-on culinary experiences that blend fun with learning. Cooking together also fosters teamwork, independence, and confidence as children explore flavors, try new foods, and take pride in their creations. Every project is tailored to be age-appropriate, inclusive, and meaningful!
Gardening
Our gardening projects connect students to nature while nurturing responsibility, patience, and curiosity. Through hands-on activities like planting seeds, tending to vegetables, and observing plant growth, children learn key concepts in science, sustainability, and healthy living. These projects also promote fine motor skills, teamwork, and environmental awareness as students witness the fruits (and veggies!) of their labor. Whether growing herbs in containers or building small garden beds, each experience is rooted in discovery and care.
Celebrations
At Potter’s Touch Knowledge Center, we are more than a community — we are a family. Our celebrations reflect the love, diversity, and unity that define us. Throughout the year, we honor each other's cultures, achievements, milestones, and traditions with joy and respect. From holiday gatherings and cultural appreciation days to birthdays and personal victories, every celebration is a reminder that every child and family matters here. We support one another, learn from one another, and grow together — because at PTKC, every moment is worth celebrating.
Community Outreach
We bring learning goes beyond the classroom. Our PTKC family actively participates in community events, service projects, and local partnerships fostering real-world connections and social responsibility.
Whether we’re volunteering at 5Ks, attending educational fairs, or hosting our own family-centered events, we strive to build meaningful relationships that reflect our values of compassion, inclusion, and purpose-driven growth.
