At Potter’s Touch Knowledge Center, we believe learning should extend beyond core academics to help students discover their purpose, build life skills, and explore future career paths. Our extracurricular courses are hands-on, enrichment-based, and designed to support the whole child—creatively, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Class Descriptions

Cooking

Students learn kitchen safety, basic cooking techniques, and how to prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals. Lessons integrate math, science, and teamwork in a fun, flavorful way.

Gardening

Through planting, harvesting, and caring for a school garden, students explore science, sustainability, and responsibility while connecting with the environment.

Music

A multi-level music program offering:

Music Theory – foundational knowledge of rhythm, melody, and notation
Keyboarding – hands-on piano instruction
DJ Skills – led by a professional DJ, students learn mixing, beat-matching, and performance skills

Art

Painting
Drawing
Pottery
Projects focus on expression, technique, and appreciation of visual arts across cultures and time periods.

Spanish

An immersive, beginner-friendly course that builds vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills through games, songs, and cultural exploration.

Entrepreneurship

Students learn how to turn ideas into action by exploring branding, product development, marketing, and leadership through real-world projects.

Bible

Faith-based instruction that explores scripture, spiritual growth, and applying Biblical principles to daily life in an inclusive and welcoming setting.

Peer Mediation

Training in conflict resolution, empathy, and leadership. Students learn how to mediate peer disagreements and foster a peaceful, respectful learning community.

Financial Literacy

Practical lessons on money management, budgeting, saving, and investing—equipping students with lifelong skills for financial independence.

Character Building

Weekly lessons focused on integrity, perseverance, respect, and responsibility to support emotional intelligence and personal growth.

Public Speaking

Students build confidence and communication skills through speeches, presentations, and creative storytelling in a safe, supportive environment.
